The 37 Hour Beanie
I'm not done with the skeleton's pumpkin beanie. I'm not sure why this project is taking over a week to complete, I guess I suck at crocheting hats. I thought I had completed the main portion using up the last of my bright orange cotton yarn, but when trying it on Mr. Skeleton, it didn't fit. No stretch. Like it was made out of cotton yarn or something. I don't have enough acrylic orange yarn, so I'm using wool. Hopefully I'll have it done later today and can post a nice picture. Then Mr. Skeleton can go back out on the porch. He's been in our living room startling us when we walk past the room.
Here is the obnoxious neon orange yarn. I've disliked it from the very beginning. I might make some pumpkin coasters out of it and call it good.
Here is the new color. It's wool yarn. I'm a little concerned with how it will hold up being outside all the time. Probably fine?
