These granny squares have been sitting around in my craft supplies for over a year now. I wasn't happy with how they turned out initially.

I altered the sunflower and the orange squares. I didn't like the background yarn choice on the sunflower or how warped the background on the orange slice was so I frogged them. I decided to use the same variegated yarn to tie them both together. I plan on displaying them in the kitchen once they are framed.

Here's how they turned out with a fried egg square added to form a trio. I followed the egg square pattern exactly, but somehow my yoke turned out tiny in comparison. Oh well, I'm sticking with it.
